Feeling well is much more than not being ill. Your emotional health and wellbeing is important because this can impact on areas of your family, social and work life, as well as your physical health.
We all feel low at times, but sometimes the problems become worse and affect our day to day lives. If you experience these feelings, and would like support, you can now be referred to Somerset Community RightSteps. We work closely with GPs and organisations to offer a range of interventions to those people who may be experiencing some form of emotional health difficulties. Our aims are to offer a fast, effective and flexible service to people living in Somerset.
If you feel you could benefit from this service please visit your GP or practice nurse who can refer you. Following your referral you will be contacted by a Wellbeing Coordinator who will assess your needs, usually over the phone, and help you to decide which intervention would be most effective in overcoming your difficulties.

All interventions are based on well researched, evidence based techniques, and are in line with current NICE guidelines.
