Somerset Podiatry Service provides advice, education and treatment for foot and lower limb conditions to the population of Somerset.
The service is run by a clinical staff of 34 Podiatrist who are all Health Profession Council (HPC) Registered and have studied for a minimum of three years to Diploma or Degree level. The service employs two podiatry assistants who specialise in pathological nail care and is supported by a dedicated administration team based in Wells.
The service is open to patients over the age of 16, and referrals can be made via your GP, Practice Nurse, other health care providers or direct by completing the Application Form.
One to one care is provided based on both a patients Medical and Podiatric needs. Patient Education and Self Care are an integral way in which care is delivered with education sessions being ran by a dedicated team at locations around the county.
