The current contract for the provision of surgical and diagnostic services at the Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre is due to expire, therefore NHS Somerset is commissioning a new provider for services outlined in the procurement documentation to be provided both at the Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre and also to be delivered within the local Somerset health community in a variety of settings and locations.
The Primary Care Trust is currently undergoing a procurement process with a number of shortlisted bidders.
