To use the facilities and resources of the Somerset Clinician Support Service (SuCceSS) to enhance clinicians’ own well-being and thereby improve patient care within the NHS.
The aim of the SuCceSS is to bring the concept of proactive clinician support into common culture, to protect wellbeing, enhance performance, prevent poor performance, and avoid compromised patient safety.
The basis is to focus on developing a is to focus on developing a range of resources to address the concerns of self-referring clinicians long before their clinical performance can cause a risk to patient safety.
