Comments from the World Class Commissioning Panel Report:
The PCT has a well-grounded strategy with an emerging view of future care delivery including the required links into social care.
The PCT now needs to build upon their vision for the future to build a strong framework for delivery with clearly developed principles and guidelines that will enable a clear and aligned prioritisation of the most important measures of operational success.
The PCT will need to ensure that patients and the public are fully engaged, understand the vision and rationale for the changes and that expectations are managed.
The PCT recognises the need to shift the whole organisation to focus on delivery of transformational change.
